Well Im gonna raise my hand towards Garys defence here.
You havnt been online lately and seen the low acitivity.
It has come down too at the most 4-5 members just in amatter of a day after your announcemnt and during this week that has passed and those that was online didnt even bother to say hi, goodbye or anything in gchat.
Thats why I left when I did.
I didnt mind to stand back in raids but if guildmembers dont even can be arsed to say hello or goodbye... and I guess thats what Gary means when he talks about a dead guild.
Its not about how many you have left in your guildcharter, its how many you actually have on that list thats been active this week and how they have been acting.
Ppl logging in and logging off straight away cause none is around and then add that to the above mentioned behaviour - some ppl actually did answer but most of them didnt.
Not the NNM i joined and was used too at all.

The point peter is trying to make is that if you look at it from that point-of-view, you're not going to make it better. You can take the things you say for granted, and do something about it. I, for instance, would like to take over the guild and bring back the social aspect.

You don't have to raid to be a guild.

I agree on the greeting in gchat part... if you can't even do that, you have no place in NNM

Peter..

I'll let it be up to you, I wont chose between guildies, so if you want to share it to everyone or just one its ok by me..

And Carina, the greeting part was a problem before it all went haywire (is that the right way to say it? hehe) .. I wont leave unless I am told or I get a good offer from some high end raiding guild, not that I will hehe( just so I can try the last stuff in the game) , I just think NNM will be the last guild for me in my wow career, I might get back to play alot again when WotLK comes, but who knows.
But you can all give, Kongfjong, Kongelong or Pwincess a tell if ya need something and I will do my best to help..

Well lets say what happened when Peter and Ally left was the last nail in the coffin for me. I had been asked many times to join some old guildies guild and as I felt I struggeled with the raidhours - not the days - I took my decision. I stayed too see what would happen at first as i felt heartless to leave when there was chaos.
As I tried to explain (and Marc did understand what i meant) was when Peter and Ally left the last glue went away and it all fell apart into pieces.
Too many of the friends I made where gone and sadly enough I felt that what happened when Peter and Ally took their break was the end of NNM.
And as i wrote in another post, ppl have stayed on the charter yes but they werent online, they logged in, took a look if there was gonna be a raid and then promptly went awaya again as soon as they realised there wasnt any - some of those in the charter didnt even bother to do that.
So either way the NNM went into a state within hours after Peter and Allys announcement that made it even hard to run 10-mans (even getting a 5-manteam was impossible).
Then some keyplayers started to drop off which made the guild crack up even more and the lack of information didnt make it better tbh.
I actually think you expected too much of those left around, perhaps if Gregg hadnt been away things wouldnt have gone as bad as they did, but well never get the answer to that now.

I wish you the best of luck Marc if you take over the leadership.
I will miss you all

I saw my name pop up in the list of people who might get something from the guildbank. (im honored since Im not really a member anymore, I stepped back to social) But Anyway...
The reason I was still playing WoW really, was NNM. But many left, some quit and a few play just very little time. So now Im thinking of quitting myself and I feel it wouldnt be fair to take stuff from the bank when I probably wont use it anyway. I prefer it given to someone who could actually use it.

But thanks for giving me the shot ;)

I havent been really online for 2 weeks now on WoW and I know I havent responded at all to any of this but I have been reading it every day. Was kind of, in a shock when I came back from Rome, loads to catch up too... Didnt know what to say. I do know, and understand well, why Peter and Ally are quitting. Some people seem to blame them for the guild falling apart. But we could have stopped it ourselves, its our fault too (mostly imo). Didnt know we needed them that much...

Feel like a freakin sheep

Lol, sorry, couldnt help myself :D

Carina I 100% agree with your points - and this is part of why I chose to take a break. Without going into details, I have a lot to deal with irl (family stuff, work, etc) and the 24/7 responsibility of keeping 50+ people together became too much.

Like Astrid says, anyone, or everyone could have prevented it being an issue, Ally and I are only 2 people. Far too many people got way too comfortable in the situation where everything was arranged for them. It would have been really easy to sort things out; all officers can do recruitment, hell all members can. Raid leading lately already saw loads of help from people within the guild. The only thing that lacked was a clear support from members for somebody, or several people to "take charge". Too many politics, x not liking y, b not wanting a to lead, yadi.

Anyway this isn;t a time for pointing fingers imo, this is a time to see which people want to stay together and make something out of NNM, whatever that something might be.

Johnny, Astrid - I've opted you out as you asked. Instead of any specific person your share will be split over everybody this way.

As for status; about ¬80 auctions left to go, it goes quicker then anticipated though I don't know how many re-lists there will have to be. We will see. :)

I really don't want to make any money/items from the situation so I will pass my share on. I'd like the guys who've had to respec all the time and have had to build, enchant and gem various different sets of armour for raids to get it if possible.
