Macros . . . .

One thing I've not really bothered with at the moment as they seem overly complicated to me, but what macros do you use?

Which do you believe are essential?
Easy to set up?

this will prolly be a disappointing reply but I have none whatsoever. I don't understand the system and so far haven't investigated it at all. Anything complex I want to do like say swapping out item sets quickly I use an addon for. So good question - anyone with any input? :p

For my warlock I had two before and have 0 now as I prefer casting spells individually - is much more efficient and with Bartender3 you have enough slots on your screen anyway.

For hunter I do have macros but you don't have one :p

Either for for your convinience: Warlock Macros List: http://ui.worldofwar.net/listmacros.php?type=12

Check left collumn menu and u will find macros for each class. Loads of rubbish as its all up to personal preference, but with some digging you might find something you like.

Really what I was after was stuff like bandie self and dismount (thats the UO player in me).
If I get attacked while mounted, I have to open the correct backpack, click on my skele horse icon which is time consuming as for some reason it does not let you click the icon in a tool bar while in combat.

Those are easy to sort:

Drag bandage icon / icon for mount to a quickslot somewhere, could be the "hidden" number two one that you can only reach by changing quickslot menus with the arrows if you dont want it to take screenspace. (Or use bartender and customise it completely.)

Meh rephrase: stick it in ANY quickslot.
Goto your menu with esc - key bindings - make sure you toggle character specific keybindings ON else u mess up all your characters.
Find the relevant quickslot in the list, assign a key - done.

Personally I dont have a mount key, tbh its easy to click in necrosis on the HUD, even during combat.
Bandage is damned useful, but imo not for a warlock as bandage only works when you are not being interupted. It is far better getting your healthstone and health pots on a key, maybe even a macro which cycles through the both as they DONT share the same cooldown. LIFE SAVER in combat. Just use an icon for bandage, you only need it when you have a moment to breath anyway.

I can highly recommend having Life tap and Dark Pact on keys, personally I use Q and E respectively and simply turn around with the mouse. I use them so often in grinding and raids that I can't do without them close at hand.
When I first started playing i didnt think much of lifetap- why would you want to lower your health to get mana? But seriously it is the BEST spell you will ever get. Make sure your gear is high on +stamina, you can sacrifice on +int. This way you have a huge health pool but you can draw on it to get extra mana once your pet runs dry. This way you have a massive mana pool.

As undead you have an even bigger advantage, as against humanoids you can life tap a couple of times right after a fight and then cannabalise their corpse to regain the health. Really quick way of being ready for the next fight.

Dismouting can also be done by rightclicking the icon on the right top if you dont have the mount shortcutted.

As for warlock there are only 2 stats important Stamina and healing / dam and critc chance depending on the build.

Succy btw gains more mana then whe can use when not improved so it is like a free mana battery.

It's entirely the same, except the healthbars from other people change from full bars into little stripes only showing their health - not their mana or buffs. Since my Warlock can't provide useful buffs or other stuff, I have very little interest in other people their stats other then their health. I use less space for healthbars in a raid then i do during a 5 man :)

Will make a screenshot Monday in Gruul if I don't forget.
