What's your plan? Where are you at? How will you do it? These are often asked questions these days. We've only arrived a short while ago in LotRO but are already drawing attention from the community. So, how ARE we doing? Where ARE we going? How WILL we do it?

We present: Operation Calamari.

• 6 members level 60: Joined weekly Filikul Raid with Tranquility. [Done]
• 12 members level 60: Additional weekly NNM Filikul Raid. [In Progress]
• 6 members 50+ radiance: Joined weekly Vile Maw Raid with Tranquility. [Done]
• 12 members 50+ radiance: Additional weekly NNM Vile Maw Raid. [In Progress]

Once the above has been achieved, we will initiate Operation Dâr Narbugud, also known as Operation Sudden Death. (Or, Operation Sudden Dread if you prefer.)

Update, Oct. 14th, 2009:

Vile Maw
We now have 6 full members geared and ready for Vile Maw.
(Abishai, Alratan, Gorili, Hiyori, Luthienne, Zyle)

Eolung is not far off from joining this group in being Vile Maw ready, making it 7.

Assuming our recruits pass trial - we're looking at having at least 8-9 people Vile Maw ready by next week.

The first joint Vile Maw attempt is this Friday. Expect this event to be the prime goal for at least until we've got it on farm, after which we can look at a more effective schedule. Absolute primary goal is getting the big squid down!


Filikul

is solidly on farm in our joint raids and weekly Thursday Farming sessions are going from strength to strength. Unfortunately these runs have 1 downside: Due to being "joint" raids, and using a (fair) 6:6 split, many people wont be able to go and some people would like to go more often. Therefore, we're going to look into planning an additional weekly trip to down .

We expect 2 additional people to ding 60 in the next 1,5 week or so. If you can lend them a hand from time to time to speed things up that would be splendid.
When this is achieved, we "only" miss 2 people to do our own additional raid. We do have another 2 people reaching 60 a few weeks later, but we plan to get things in motion *before* that.

Again please do help these people in getting to 60 as it's in everyone's benefit. I'll provide more details on how an additional run is going to work and fit in the schedule sometime next week, with the aim to start trialling this the week after next. (So, the last week in October, which is less than 2 weeks from now for the first run) Again and I can't stress this enough - please try to help people who are nearing 60 in the mean time. We more people we potentially have available, the better!
