Ventrilo Issues

Postby Abishai » Wed May 16, 2007 2:40 pm

I noticed the ventrilo was down earlier so had a check and indeed saw that the server was down. I've opened a support ticket and it has since been resolved.

Please do let me know guys if this happens during the day when i aint around. I do check the forums from time to time and am always quickly on the case. I am currently considering having the server moved to a different physical location to see if that would improve performance.

Server is currently in Amsterdam as I preferred something central to our member base, considering to move it to London or Frankfurt.

Anyone with an opinion please do feel free to share it. I'm considering moving it about to just see what happens, but every time we do so the address changes I think. (You would have to change your server settings in your ventrilo program.)

[quote:955ee14183]Hi Peter,
I'll have someone from the NOC look at this for you..
Thanks

[quote:955ee14183]Thanks Bill,

I will look forward to their reaction. The server is back up now but this has happened twice in the very short time I have been a client - which is a slight concern.

Best regards,
Peter[/quote:955ee14183]

[quote:955ee14183]hi Again Peter,
I spoke with the NOC, and they stated they had the system off line briefly, but that it was back online now.
They didn't go into detail with me, but evidently what they were working on was quick, but unscheduled.
thanks
