[quote:1385e5067a="Garrison"]The main problem I had with Curator wasn't my DPS, but that he resisted a hell of a lot of the shadowbolts I cast during the evocations. So either or both of spell hit/spell penetration needs to improve, which will usually be to the detriment of spell crit. chance.[/quote:1385e5067a]

I don't see much different between Wraeththu and Myrkul in terms of chance to get a Sbolt resisted so I am not sure what is going on there. In fact I used to have one point less in suppression then you do now o_O

Still, you *can* do more dps with key bindings as there is too much downtime with mouse clicks. Assigning a few key bindings doesn't prevent you from using your mouse, just try it on fights like Curator where you can mostly stand still and concentrate on pressing keys on your Warlock. Can't hurt to try, every little bit of dps helps, honestly.

Suppression is just for Affliction spells I think, I posted about spell hit in the mage forums - I would say most of the resists are from hit rather than penetration.

Macro's and key bindings make a big difference in PvP I hardly use the mouse at all, in PvE its probally 80% key bindings and 20% Mouse.

[quote:db6e821163="Dal"]well....[/quote:db6e821163]

Wellllll......

[quote:db6e821163="Dal"]James, update your character page - level 64[/quote:db6e821163]

/agree so much.

[quote:db6e821163="Dal"]Gary, do more DPS! - Do you use Macro's, Spell Sequence can place your curses onto 1 button, Focus can mean you can ignore your cc till someone screams at you, an assist and seed of corruption might work if you drop it on a tanks target in AoE (not thought about that but I think I like it) if you want any help on that side I can work something out for you just tell me what you want to acheive[/quote:db6e821163]

You can only have 1 curse per target so doing that isn't too useful. Warlock spell cycle is also very circumstancial. In the end though, with about 6-7 key bindings you can cover every potential situation pretty well, the rest even I use the mouse for.

[quote:db6e821163="Dal"]Peter, enchant my gear with mp5 - for free and while you are at it any chance you can diss a load of cr@p [/quote:db6e821163]

I aint rich (anymore) but I happily dis your rubbish and exchange the mats for enchants *if* I have the mats you would require for your enchants spare. No problem really. If I have an abundance of the mats in question I'll tuck them in for free as always.

[quote:db6e821163="Dal"]Ally, get more gear not as easy as it sounds, hows tailoring going? also we have alot of Pallys now, can pallys replace priests for healing in Kara?[/quote:db6e821163]

Getting gear on her shadow priest simply requires more pvp, more instances and especially more Kara runs ON the shadow priest. The last run was painful, there already is quite a few caster dps gear neither you nor Gary needs which Ally does badly need. Really hope we can get more runs going with her spriest.

[quote:db6e821163="Dal"]Neill, you just keep being Neill  [/quote:db6e821163]

Argh! Another stupid suggestion! Wouldn't we want him to be anything BUT Neill? Oh wait Neill can read this
Nah Neill is doing awesome in raids, his presence is extremely valuable both in terms of healing as well as defeating encounters. Wizard of oz was an excellent example.

[quote:db6e821163="Dal"]Mike, shut up - go level an alt or something.[/quote:db6e821163]

Yeah! And stick to one damnit! ;-)
I'd actually love to see you finishing a PvP-only character, I really wanna take a part of the guild into regular premades and pwn noobs. (And eventually also pwn non-noobs hehe)

I cant help it...

Nothing is the same as sending a pyro blast into a hapless sheep

Grinding levels goes so slow in comparrison to my mage with my mage I can farm super fast (except fire motes). Even my lock is slow compared. DPY pally is like, come on kill it allready! Shammy is too questy questy, Rogues are all stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab stab...bored now...stab stab stab stab stab stab...you get the picture. Aside from levelling another Mage I dont know what to do I just get bored. Maybe a Hunter is the way to go, they seem to level pretty quick and be reasonably comparable to mages for DPS and general pew pew also they lend to my play style of stand back and proclaim that you are generally great whilst ensure you remain pretty. Either way I should have my Spellfire gear sorted by the end of the week with my mage and only needed PvP gear after that with him so once that has been done I will be set to concentrate on an alt. Just have to figure which one.

Btw on a serious note, not just mocking Mike for having a terrible suggestion - I really do want Curator to go on farm status as well. Moroes has been going brilliantly though i do think we might do a step back with the amount of experienced people having left. But we have enough experience left to succeed as far as I am concerned. The tanks were the main issue in moroes in terms of the pulls, it goes ace nowadays.

Anyway.... I digress. I want Curator and Chess to go on our "yes, we can farm this" list. We have proven we can defeat at least two of the Opera events, I am sure we can do little red riding hood too. It might take a few tries to defeat Opera some weeks, but alas we can do it, we know we can.

Getting Curator on the weekly kill cycle would mean a constant stream of extra epics from both Curator *and* Chess - this is a not to be underestimated amount of extra weekly gear.
In addition to this, it would be a morale boost. We are just far enough in Kara not to be complete noobs and to have an awesome first raid night but we need to show our members that they are able to get a constant stream of fun, gear and success during our raids.

Nevertheless as stated before, Curator is a gear check and unless we get people geared and we happen to get the right setup for Curator, we wont manage right now.

Just sit for a minute and imagine the satisfaction we will have once he goes down though, and one thing is sure: He WILL go down in the coming weeks. He's got gloves with my name on them and I will be damned if I let him keep them much longer ;)
